Corona didn't gave us stress we had it before. Our country is known for high death rate caused from stress and anxiety.
Stress originates when you are not at peace with your mind. For example, you work more than 12 hours a day and still have a great life or you work only 8 hours a day and keep thinking about a person who works 1 hour a day and your start coming home angry and frustrated, you make you yourself as well as your family miserable.
Stress is of two kinds: eustress and distress. Eustress is good for you. It necessitates the aldosterone rush and brings that rush back to normal by releasing melatonin which gives you a sound sleep. Distress happens when this functioning is disturbed. We take this stress unnecessarily, we provide the soil for this stress to grow by unhappy thoughts.
A student once asked his master please teach me how to make people happy. The master asked him just to prepare the food, clean the room and breath. The man came after a week he was more happy these days and seeing him happy others were happy too. He was happy before but now with the peace of mind. When he prepared food, he thought of nothing else other than food, so this made him the best cook. When he cleaned his room, he tried to avoid thinking anything other than room, his health improved due to proper hygiene.
So what the student did we can do that too. Just breath today and just do that be mindful about it. One day the word stress won't exist in your dictionary.
